Students are given opportunities to taken on leadership roles and to be involved in a student senate. The Senate team is an elected group of student representatives, who seek to provide programs, support and be a voice for the rest of the students in the College. From this group School Captains are selected.
All teachers have a pastoral role; however, each class is also supported by a core teacher who will focus on that group. The Core Teacher model and Homeroom approach enhance student learning by enabling them to make connections across curriculum areas, provide students with pastoral care, stability and an environment that supports learning and fosters student/teacher relationships. This model is in place to support students right across the College from Prep to Year 12. Chaplaincy staff support the teachers, offering help with counselling, referrals, advice, Christian education and evangelism.
