The College provides many oppotunities for students to discover their musical talents through experiences in a variety of genres, All students from Prep to Year 2 are involved in the Junior Choir. The Years 3 and 4 Music Immersion Program provides students with the opportunity to learn the violin in Year 3 and a brass or woodwind instrument in Year 4. With neurological research showing that the study of music enhances cognitive performance, learning an instrument is an important part of our College program.
External music tuition is available at the College in piano, guitar, violin, drums, brass and woodwind instruments. Vocal lessons are also available. It is exciting to see so many students developing their talents through dedicated practice, and performance oppotunities in front of the College community. We are very proud of our senior Chapel band who perform weekly during Chapel and at our Friday night youth programs.
The Andrew / Bates rivalry continues each year as the College sporting houses compete in the Gold Coast Christian College Carnivals for Athletics, Swimming and Cross Counrty.
Students who do well at our College Carnival go on to compete at Adventist School Sport Association (ASSA) carnivals and the Independent District School Sport (IDSS) competitions.
Gold Coast Christian College also takes part in the Association of Gold Coast Colleges (AGCC) interschool sport competitions. This provides our students with opportunities to represent our College in sports such as Touch Football, Netball, Ostag, Futsal, Tennis and Soccer.
Recreational sports that are available are Surfing , Laser Skirmish , Beach Fitness , Ice Skating , Tennis.

"I have had two very different school experiences bewtween Korea and Australia. During school life in South Korea, it was so hard to find smiles with students. With strict instructions, students lost their own life by handcuffs called 'study'. At Gold Coast Christian College everyone is familiar with each other, even students and teachers. With very peaceful and tidy school envionments, everyone will find welcoming staff and smiling students. Teachers are very kind, with a good sense of humour. If you are struggling, you just go ask a teacher for help. Welcome to the world's most kind family group!"

"When my daughter went to Gold Coast Christian College for the first day she couldn't speak any English. Her first impression of classmates is they looked so happy and everyone was smiling. When she had sport lesson everyone introduced themselves and then she could remember their names and make friends. Everyone is so friendly and helpful so she can understand what she had to do in the lesson. We have made many friends and we are apart of the Gold Coast Christain College society. "
