Pittwater House School, Collaroy NSW
Pittwater House has combined the best of both words in an innovative learning environment which provides single-sex classes on a co-educational campus.
Research shows psychological differences in how males and females think, communicate and behave. Our twin schooling model gives your child all the advantages of gender-specific teaching combined with the many social benefits of a co-educational campus.
Pittwater House offers partial scholarships to students for outstanding academic potential and general excellence. Applications open on Tuesday 3 September 2019 and students will be required to sit the academic examination administered by the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER) on Saturday 29 February 2020.
We give a limited number of general and academic excellence scholarships to students entering Years 7, 9 and 11.
Pittwater House only offers partial scholarships. Parents must pay all other expenses at the full rate.
Scholarships are open to current students of Pittwater House as well as students attending other schools. Applicants must be Australian residents.
We run a private service of five buses for families living on the North Shore and in the North Beaches who are not served by commercial or governmental transport.
At Pittwater House there is a great spirit of friendliness, mutual respect and recognition of achievement, all reflected in the school motto 'semper diligens' — Latin for 'always hardworking’. I am proud to be leading a school that offers a truly unique, balanced and nurturing approach to education from Pre-school to Year 12. The School's philosophy is based on providing single-sex education within a co-educational environment. We offer smaller class sizes and a focus on academic growth. We specifically focus on the development of each and every child at Pittwater House. This approach mirrors my own principles, which are focused on cultivating student potential, encouraging strong personal values and creating well-rounded young people.
