Non Denominational
Pre-Prep to Year 12
Tamborine Mountain College is a Pre-Prep to Yr 12 campus.

There are only 2 classes/year level so classes are capped and limited. It is strongly advised that if you are planning to enrol your child in TMC for the next year, that you do this as early as possible. Most of our enrolments are made several years in advance.

Enrolment in any year level can occur at any time of the year, from any locality, providing vacancies exist.

We do not restrict enrolment to a catchment area and those that enrol from other catchment areas and travel on the bus to TMC can apply for a College Travel Concession.

To enrol you need to complete the Online Enrolment Form, providing the necessary documents and application fee. An interview with the Principal or delegate, will be arranged through our office and if enrolment is successful and confirmed, then the deposit is immediately payable to secure your child’s place.

If you intend to apply for a Scholarship in the month of June in the preceding year of enrolment for Yr 7 or Yr 11, it is advisable that you go through the enrolment process first to avoid disappointment if classes become full by the time scholarships are assessed. Scholarships are assessed and awarded by Term 3.

We look forward to welcoming your family to our College family.

Tamborine Mountain College is an independent, co-educational campus for Pre-Prep to Yr 12.  There are only two classes per year level, which means that student numbers are capped, thereby limiting vacancies available. Teachers and staff have a close bond with our students. We offer student–centred learning in a caring, safe, family-like environment. We value the individual and recognise and celebrate personal success and achievement.

At the College we offer quality, affordable education. We have set standards in areas of behaviour and uniform. Our students are polite, co-operative and respectful. College life provides many opportunities for students in extracurricular activities, including debating, public speaking, titration, competitive sport, school productions, snow trips, overseas trips and equestrian competitions.

The College is truly independent with no actual religious affiliation or instruction, however moral and social expectations are reinforced in our school community through our pastoral care. We value close communication with our parents and have a supportive and active Parents & Friends Association.

There are three sport houses which are named after our founding Board members – Kyle (blue), Walton (red) and Nicholls (gold). The “Melbourne Cup” named after the Principal is the House Trophy that is competed for in Swimming, Cross-Country and Athletics.

Tamborine Mountain College has a spirit that is strengthened by the school song “Arrows of Tomorrow”, sung proudly every week by the students on Assembly. “Victory & Valour” is the College motto and our two large bronze lions, thus named, stand as sentries at the administration entrance to symbolise these noble pursuits. The names “Vic” and “Val” are assigned to the two classes per year level.

We believe the key to success is to enjoy what you are learning and to have the confidence to follow your dreams and desires. Tamborine Mountain College provides the positive learning environment to achieve this.

I invite you to watch the annual TMC DVD to gain an insight into our College life.
