Catholic beliefs are at the centre of Waverley College life. Each week, students learn about, share and practice their faith and traditions, contribution to building a spiritual foundation that can sustain them throughout their lives. The Social Justice program involves all students in outreach activities and encourages a lifetime commitment to activism for the world’s marginalised and for the earth itself.
The College was founded in 1903 and has educated many eminent Australians in law, medicine, the military, sport and the arts. This is a school with an important mission at its core: to transform the minds and hearts of young Australians to build a more just, tolerant and inclusive community by educating for liberation and possibility.
