Aerie College, our first campus of a developing Residential Collegiate Community, has a focus on the two final years of the high school curriculum using an alternate adventure challenge learning approach to assist students who have not found success within the standard Government high School system. This leads forward into Vocational and Entrepreneurial Skills development.
We place great importance on team learning and building strong supportive relationships between team members.
We welcome and encourage whole family participation in the Collegiate Community events, especially during family vacation opportunities.
We especially encourage older family members, grandparents, older uncles and aunties, to join with our student's activities within our Collegiate Community Resorts facilities. We strongly encourage our students to actively invite older members of their families to participate in a wide variety of our activities and to develop a caring attitude towards their older family members.
A major part of our curriculum has focused on care services and the maintenance of close friendships and family affiliations.

Aerie College is a special Assistance Senior High School and VET College developing a small Adelaide City campus as our Residential SACE base and several small rural residential campuses all designed to create a feeling of one big family working a family business in a range of Tourism, Hospitality, Cookery, Care services, and Adventure leadership.
Our focus is on the 16-24-year-olds who have problems remaining within the schools and VET training programs, some because of disability, some homeless, and some escaping from unhappy schools.
We encourage building great partnerships and team building as in a large family enterprise that is working well for the benefit of all family members. We encourage older people, especially retirees with skills to offer, to spend time on the community campuses as volunteers. We encourage our students to build microbusinesses while they are with us, with the view to mentoring and supporting them when they are ready to leave and fly on their own flight path.
We are building a strong feeling of community support that will be there for them at any time should they need to return.

If you can dream it you can do it.
We are planning 8 weekly Houseboat Cruise, Summer schools on the Murray between Murray Bridge and Renmark to enable potential students and their families to spend time with us discussing and experiencing our learning programs.
Each cruise will contain essential riverboat skills, water safety, first aid training and a very enjoyable relaxing family holiday time.
