MUSIC
The College provides many oppotunities for students to discover their musical talents through experiences in a variety of genres. The Years 3 and 4 Music Immersion Program provides students with the opportunity to learn the violin in Year 3 and a brass or woodwind instrument in Year 4. With neurological research showing that the study of music enhances cognitive performance, learning an instrument is an important part of our College program.
External music tuition is available at the College in piano, guitar, violin, drums, brass and woodwind instruments. Vocal lessons are also available. It is exciting to see so many students developing their talents through dedicated practice, and performance oppotunities in front of the College community. We are very proud of our senior Chapel band who perform weekly during Chapel and at our Friday night youth programs.
SPORT
The Andrew/Bates rivalry continues each year as the College sporting houses compete in the Gold Coast Christian College Carnivals for Athletics, Swimming and Cross Counrty.
Students who do well at our College Carnival go on to compete at Adventist School Sport Association (ASSA) carnivals and the Independent District School Sport (IDSS) competitions.
Gold Coast Christian College also takes part in the Association of Gold Coast Colleges (AGCC) interschool sport competitions. This provides our students with opportunities to represent our College in sports such as Touch Football, Netball, Ostag, Futsal and Soccer.
Recreational sports that are available are Surfing , Laser Skirmish , Beach activities , Fishing and CrossFit.
Gold Coast Christian College offers students and their parent community chaplaincy services that are outside of the sphere of education. The Chaplaincy and Counselling service aims to support students and their families throughout the schooling years. It also provides support or has the ability to refer to other appropriate services in times of need or crisis.

Gold Coast Christian College offers a comprehensive co-educational day school for overseas students from Prep (5 years old) to Year 12 (18 years old). Combined with our Education program we also offer a homestay accommodation service to our overseas students. The College campus has a unique rural setting and is centrally located in Reedy Creek on the Gold Coast.
Once the International Student is enrolled full-time we continue to support him/her in the classroom with our ESL support program as well as general class support. Gold Coast Christian College has developed a good reputation in the international community, ensuring each student engages in an enriched curriculum.
