For those interested in physical activity, we offer two ovals, a gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and handball courts, providing ample opportunities for sport and exercise. 

Our campus also features a Performing Arts Centre, music labs and studio as well as dedicated art studios, which offer opportunities for creative expression and artistic development.

For research and scientific activity, the College has a Library Research Centre, specialist science laboratories and aquaponics facilities.

We understand that it is a difficult decision for your parents to send you to boarding school and we are committed to helping families have the best experience possible by creating a friendly, supportive environment, with programs tailored for each year level, designed to help you to thrive during your stay. You will be encouraged to become actively involved in a broad range of both College and boarding activities to ensure that every moment with us is a well spent one.

Your transition from a boy to a young man is a challenge filled time through which you will need to feel safe, supported and special. Boarding at Mazenod aims to recreate many aspects of home – intimate, nurturing living to cater for you through the varying stages of your spiritual, emotional, cultural and social development. We work on the premise that if we focus on how boys best live and learn, we will provide you with a positive life changing experience. At all times, you will be challenged to explore new interests and discover and explore your individual skills and talents.

We are home to boys from rural Western Australia as well as some local boarders who join us for shorter stays. We encourage all our boys to recognise their own responsibility for academic success as we support you with resources, including access to our wonderful teaching staff four nights a week, to help you balance your schoolwork and your co-curricular responsibilities.

There is a place for every student in our boarding family to exercise his talents and gifts, experience success and challenge himself and we know you will find where you belong in our residential family. Our staff will always be available to guide you as you develop your independence, and we will work with your parents and your teachers to inspire you to “be the man you want to be” so that you make a meaningful contribution in society at whatever level and in whatever unique way you can.
