Pittwater House has combined the best of both words in an innovative learning environment which provides single-sex classes on a co-educational campus.

Research shows psychological differences in how males and females think, communicate and behave. Our twin schooling model gives your child all the advantages of gender-specific teaching combined with the many social benefits of a co-educational campus.

Pittwater House is a small school with a strong focus on each student’s academic growth which begins from the earliest years of school.

Our curriculum pushes the boundaries of our students academically, while helping them to grow into independent learners capable of both creative and critical thinking.

We routinely produce strong results in the HSC and NAPLAN and our HSC students consistently rank in the Distinguished Achievers List.
Pittwater House has more green, open space than any other private school on the Northern Beaches.

Our 3.5 hectare campus offers playgrounds and leisure spaces for all ages, from Pre-school to Year 12. We have impressive facilities onsite including; a pool, multipurpose playing field, numerous playgrounds, the Great Hall, outdoor courts, an indoor sports complex, the Music Cottage, art rooms, a creative arts studio and a health centre.

We also offer an out-of-school hours (OOSH) facility onsite.

Pittwater House offers partial scholarships to students for outstanding academic potential and general excellence (creative arts and sports). Applications for 2021 are now closed.

We give a limited number of general and academic excellence scholarships to students entering Years 7, 9 and 11.

Pittwater House only offers partial scholarships. Parents must pay all other expenses at the full rate.

Scholarships are open to current students of Pittwater House as well as students attending other schools. Applicants must be Australian residents.

We run a private service of five buses for families living on the North Shore and in the North Beaches who are not served by commercial or governmental transport.

Principal's Image

At Pittwater House there is a great spirit of friendliness, mutual respect and recognition of achievement, all reflected in the school motto 'semper diligens' — Latin for 'always hardworking’. I am proud to be leading a school that offers a truly unique, balanced and nurturing approach to education from Pre-school to Year 12. The School's philosophy is based on providing single-sex education within a co-educational environment. We offer smaller class sizes and a focus on academic growth. We specifically focus on the development of each and every child at Pittwater House. This approach mirrors my own principles, which are focused on cultivating student potential, encouraging strong personal values and creating well-rounded young people.
