Top ATAR results for Flinders Class of 2022

Flinders Class of 2022 Achieves Outstanding ATAR Results with median ATAR of 92.45

Leading co-educational independent school Matthew Flinders Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast is celebrating its Year 12 graduates achieving outstanding 2022 ATAR results, with a median ATAR of 92.45.

One Flinders student, Laura Webb, achieved the highest possible ATAR of 99.95.

LORETO COLLEGE SUBMITS APPLICATION FOR YEARS 5 AND 6

Brisbane’s Loreto College Coorparoo has submitted a formal application to Queensland’s Non-State Schools Accreditation Board (NSSAB) for the introduction of Year 5 in 2025 and Year 6 in 2026.

Loreto College Coorparoo Principal Kim Wickham said the application followed a comprehensive strategic review and consultation process.

Top Queensland School Calls for Applicants for Head of Secondary School Role

One of Queensland’s leading independent schools, Matthew Flinders Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast, is calling for outstanding educators to apply for the Head of Secondary role, with applications closing 12 August, 2022. 
 
The rare and exciting opportunity is a five-year tenured executive leadership position, reporting to the Principal and commencing in Term 1, 2023.

Flinders Principal Stuart Meade Honoured as Life Member of the Australian Schools Rugby (ASRU)

To his surprise and delight, Matthew Flinders Anglican College Principal Mr Stuart Meade has been honoured as a Life Member of the Australian Schools Rugby Union (ASRU) by its President Mr Kevin Culliver OAM.

NEW WONDERARIUM OPENS AT FLINDERS AS PART OF THE FLINDERS MASTERPLAN

Primary School students at Matthew Flinders Anglican College in Buderim are excited to explore and learn in their newly opened $1.3 million Wonderarium. 

The Wonderarium learning centre has been designed as a place of wonder, awe and curiosity. 

It is part of the five-year Flinders Masterplan to construct a suite of agile contemporary learning spaces for the College’s 1,380 students from Prep to Year 12. 

Other newly opened Masterplan facilities include the Flagship Centre for Years 5 and 6 students, and the Year 7 Precinct for students in their first year of Secondary School. A state-of-the-art Design Centre is next.
