St George's Anglican Grammar School is an exciting secondary school based in the Perth CBD. The School is a proud member of the Anglican Schools Commission system of schooling in Western Australia.

Catering for students in Years 7-12, St George’s Anglican Grammar School delivers an authentic, future-focused educational experience. The central location enables us to make full use of the cultural, sporting and business opportunities on offer in our progressive, modern city environment.

St George’s enrolls both local and international students, providing an ideal environment for students to develop the skills and cross-cultural understandings which form the basis of a global perspective.

The Anglican Schools Commission is proud to boast its own language school where students can undertake academic English programs in order to prepare them for study in a mainstream secondary environment.  Located here at St George's Anglican Grammar School, students can study in the ASC language school for up to four terms before moving on to mainstream.

We are committed to ensuring that students and staff interact in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust; one that is enjoyable, challenging and stimulating, where students accept personal responsibility for their learning and behaviour.

We aim to create an environment in which each student can reach their potential, both academically and personally.

Welcome to St George’s Anglican Grammar School; an exciting, innovative co-educational secondary school based in a high-rise building in the Perth CBD, and a proud member of the Anglican Schools Commission network of schools in Western Australia. As the first and only vertical school in Perth, we cater for local and international students in Years 7-12, creating a rich tapestry of cultural diversity that encourages a global outlook amongst students. We deliver an authentic, future-focused, Christian educational experience.

St George’s Anglican Grammar School seeks to influence the world of education, helping to change, mould and transform young people’s lives for the better. This is through a technology-driven approach to education, coupled with self-directed learning and a pastoral philosophy. Our students enjoy a challenging and stimulating education in a safe yet dynamic environment, where they can reach their potential both academically and personally. We prepare our young people to be resilient, responsive to an everchanging world, and to develop values that will enable and encourage them to serve the wider community. Our goals and aspirations revolve around creating a school of excellence that is a leader in education; a contemporary approach to thinking, teaching and learning. As a school community, we have a shared passion for 21st century learning, acknowledging the importance of enabling students to be global citizens. We embody a culture of innovation, from our ‘Futures Music Program’, to cutting edge 21st century learning spaces, providing an environment that not only engages our learners, but prepares them for the world in which they will work.

The city is our campus, permitting real-life learning directly into the curriculum. The central location of the School provides opportunities to access the many cultural, sporting and business opportunities available in a modern city environment, including our unique service initiatives, pairing students with corporate mentors, and exploring exciting opportunities to link with businesses in the city. We have the rare ability to utilise Perth’s leading cultural and educational facilities as our classrooms, enabling the School to offer rich, relevant curriculum experiences. These include St George’s Cathedral - our spiritual ‘home’ in the city, City of Perth Library, King Street Art Centre, WA State Theatre, WA Museum, Art Gallery of WA and the Perth Concert Hall. Conveniently located adjacent to major train, bus and ferry routes, our school attracts and is accessible to students from all metropolitan suburbs.

St George’s is grounded in values that nurture the individual, promoting personal well-being and cross-cultural understanding in a tolerant environment, where the School values of Wisdom, Grace and Service are upheld. Our aim is to be a community of learners and educators whose everyday actions embody these three words. We strive for our students to be equipped to tackle the world head on; to be inquisitive, questioning, informed, but perhaps most importantly, kind. Our Anglican faith supports this, our teachers enable it, our parents nurture it, and our students live it.

If you, or your child, are looking for a modern, relational school that embraces the individual and want to ensure the best start in life, now is the time to enrol at St George’s Anglican Grammar School. I invite you to take a tour and see firsthand how our students are empowered in their learning.
