The Lamp of Learning is a symbol in all Brigidine Schools across Australia. Its light shines upon knowledge, awakens understandings, opens new possibilities and challenges ideas. Our College is a place where students warmly embrace the love of learning and the sense of purpose. This enriching legacy left to us by the Sisters, provides for us the responsibility to be the living ethos and celebration of the core Brigidine values:
* be faithful to our Catholic Heritage
* welcome all people, especially the most vulnerable
* celebrate all that is good with joy and gratitude
* engender a love of learning, hope and a sense of purpose
* image and practise justice and service

Enjoy this reflection from one of our Brigidine dads:
My daughter just graduated from Brigidine College and I wanted to pass on my thanks to the Principal Mr Brendan Cahill and every member of staff. From my perspective Brigidine College is without peer. It provided my daughter a caring and nurturing environment during her formative years for which I will always be deeply grateful. The school's values are an integral part of her life now. From my daughter’s perspective ...well, she simply loved everything about the school, its teachers and her fellow students. It was as much family as it was an education and it definitely inspired both her mind and spirit. Brigidine College is an amazing place. Thank you for the incredible job you're doing.

Brigidine College, Indooroopilly – a message from the Principal, Mr Brendan Cahill
I believe in inspiring women to be the difference. A Brigidine education is one of social and ethical responsibility. In 2018, I have challenged of our students to be agents of Hope for their community and for the broader world. Through a Learning Paradigm that emphasises reflective practice, collaborative learning and effective communication, students become global citizens for the 21st century.
As preparations are made for the 90th anniversary in 2019, the college is also embarking on a transformative building program over the next three years. The Science/Technology Hub will extend STEM and digital learning opportunities and connect stimulating environments where the Arts and Digital spaces allow for students to ‘create’ a future well beyond their time at school.
Brigidine students open doors to learn with Hope and Purpose. Discover how, at an open morning on 5 or 6 March 9.30-10.30am. Phone 3879 7225 to secure your own daughter’s future.
