We are an innovative and inclusive Catholic school, inspiring children to love learning and discover their talents to be the best they can be. We believe wellbeing and a strong sense of connection, engagement and optimism enable children to develop a positive attitude to learning.
We welcome children of all abilities, backgrounds, cultures, and faiths. Our skilled and committed staff nurture the social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of all students in our care. We are committed to our vision to provide authentic, professional Catholic education, delivered with care and compassion.
Our school offers an inquiry approach to learning, supported by quality teaching and innovative technology, an integrated wellbeing program, offering excellent sporting and creative opportunities.
Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Primary School is situated in beautiful tree studded surroundings with play equipment, an oval providing ample playing space and outdoor education facilities. We are a co-educational school meeting the needs of children from Kindergarten to Year Six. Our motto “Let your Light Shine” underpins and guides our school life.
Staff, parents, and the community work to encourage children to develop initiative and become self-motivated learners who can work co-operatively, play enthusiastically and behave with consideration and mutual respect for everyone.
Parents are partners in learning at OLGC. We see you as the primary educators of your child and we encourage you to be actively involved in the school and parish. I look forward to welcoming you to OLGC and invite you to take a school tour at a mutually convenient time by contacting us on 02 9972 7311 or firstname.lastname@example.org
