Living onsite means boarders have access to the full breadth of campus facilities, being just a short walk from classrooms, the Senior School Library, the Performing Arts Centre and the state-of-the-art Joan Montgomery Centre. From music rehearsals to evening sport, every day brings opportunities to connect, explore and thrive.
Wellbeing
At PLC, wellbeing is woven into every aspect of boarding life. The Boarding House provides a calm, balanced environment where girls can feel at ease and be themselves. Regular check-ins, open communication and trusted relationships with staff ensure that each boarder feels genuinely supported. With access to onsite health and wellbeing services, boarders are encouraged to develop self-awareness, resilience and healthy habits. Whether participating in weekend activities, spending time outdoors, or simply relaxing with friends, boarders are given the space and support to flourish – emotionally, socially and personally.

PLC is a leading independent day and boarding school for girls, located in Melbourne, Australia. We welcome enrolment applications from international students.
International students benefit from PLC’s outstanding teaching, exceptional academic programs, world-class facilities and inclusive culture.
As a boarding school, international students at PLC can live on campus in our welcoming and well-equipped Boarding House.Â
International students who are accompanied by a parent on a guardian visa may reside with that parent.
At PLC, we’re proud of our rich academic tradition and our commitment to nurturing confident, capable young women who excel in diverse fields. We warmly invite applications for a variety of scholarships, which offer students the opportunity to become part of a supportive learning community that values excellence, courage, curiosity and personal growth.
PLC accepts applications for scholarships for entry into Years 7 to 11. Year 6 PLC students are permitted to apply for entry into Year 7 only.
PLC scholarships are highly sought-after and may cover up to 50% of the basic annual tuition fees.
Please note that applications for entry in 2027 have closed and no late applications are permitted.
