In celebration of Fintona Girls’ School’s 120 year anniversary in 2016, Fintona is proud to award four Bursaries to new students commencing in Year 10 in 2016. Named in honour of the generosity of past students and staff who championed the importance of an outstanding education for girls, these Bursaries offer a rare opportunity to join one of the top performing girls’ schools in Victoria.
The philosophy behind these Bursaries is to provide access to an education that will transform the lives of girls who, due to financial circumstances, would otherwise not be able to afford a Fintona education.
Girls currently in Year 9 who fulfil the criteria are encouraged to apply.
Applications for 2016 will close on Friday 17 July 2015.
General Criteria
Bursaries are available to prospective students only entering Year 10 in 2016.
Each Bursary will cover 50% of the tuition fees in Years 10, 11 and 12.
Offers will be based on the application, recent school reports, confidential review of financial records and a personal interview.
These Bursaries are not scholarships and are not awarded on the basis of an examination.
Successful applicants will be required to abide by the terms and conditions of Fintona Girls’ School.
