Information Evening
Wednesday 14 October, 6pm-7.15pm
Chapter House
St Andrew’s Cathedral School, Sydney Square
At St Andrew’s Cathedral School, we recognise the unique educational and wellbeing needs of our high potential and gifted students. We understand that they require differentiated teaching and learning practices and talent development opportunities to ensure their specific learning needs are met.
Parents and educators from all schools are invited to join this Information Evening to discover what the research recommends as best practice for Gifted Learners, and the extensive opportunities available for students, from Kindergarten to Year 12.
After Helen Baber’s presentation on Supporting your gifted child: building strong partnerships between home and school, our Head of Junior School, Mrs Rhonda Robson, will chair a panel discussion of highly qualified and experienced Gifted Education specialist staff on the learning structures and strategies recommended to meet academic, social and emotional needs of Gifted and Talented students.
The panel will also discuss highly sought Academic and Music Scholarship opportunities at St Andrew’s Cathedral School.
Following the panel discussion, guests will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Parents and educators from all schools are welcome to attend. It is anticipated that this event will conclude by 7.15pm
