We seek students with a love of learning, kids who try their best every day, whose application, effort and engagement mean that they will find success in almost everything they do.
Scholarships are now open to students applying for Years 5,7,8,9, 10 and 11 in 2019. We offer four types of scholarships: Academic, Music, Principal’s and a Year 7 2019 Community Scholarship (Community Scholarships not yet open).
Academic Scholarships are offered to students who display outstanding academic ability on the scholarship test. Evidence of a particular academic talent and other notable interests and achievements, along with a commitment to the School’s ethos, will also be taken into account.
Students applying for a Music Scholarship are required to sit the scholarship test, however, most weight will be placed upon evidence of a high degree of talent in their chosen instrument/s. Selected students will be invited to audition before the Director of Music.
Principal’s Scholarships are offered to students who do not currently attend Woodleigh School. Leadership skills, citizenship qualities, a commitment to community service and a particular talent in Visual or Performing Arts, Music and/or Sport are highly regarded.
We are offering one Community Scholarship for a student of Sudanese heritage for entry into Year 7 in 2019. A strong connection to their heritage, leadership skills, citizenship qualities and a commitment to community service are key selection criteria.
