Playdays for Under 4s
Enjoy a playday with local families
MLC School invites families with children aged four and under to a weekly playday.
Play is an essential part of a young child’s development. It helps young children’s brains to develop and their language and communication skills to expand.
MLC School’s early childhood teachers understand how young children learn and know that play-based programs are vital to laying the foundations for formal education.
Simple childhood activities increase every child’s development. These activities encourage communication, problem-solving and motor skills development. Children’s interactions in play enable them to develop social skills such as cooperation, sharing, responding to ideas, negotiating and resolving conflicts.
During playdays at MLC School your child will focus on learning through play. Our specialist teachers will guide activities such as Story Time, Art, Music and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics), with a mix of fun and enthusiasm to support a positive attitude to learning in each child. Girls and boys will also have time explore the fabulous playground with its bike track and timber climbing gym.
The playdays commence Thursday 8 August 2019 until 12 September 2019, 9.15am–10.15am, at MLC School.
Attendance is free, however registration is essential.
