Join us for our Middle School Information evening!
The commencement of Middle School marks a notable transition in any student’s life.
The Middle School Virtual Information evening is designed to provide a space in which both students and parents can ask questions and learn more about the Middle School at SMGS.
The information evening will be delivered via a semi-live webinar with pre-recorded presentations and a live Q/A.
The topics that will be covered include:
-Welcome to Middle School at SMGS
-Wellbeing
-Transition to Middle School with a focus on Year 7: an overview of SMGS’ Learning Management System, Canvas, device use and policy, co-curricular opportunities and sport, uniform expectations and more
-How do I support my child in their transition to Middle School?
-Academic approach
-Educational support and enrichment
-From their perspective – hear from our current Middle School and Senior School students about their experience of Middle School at SMGS.
Who: All parents, carers and students who are starting in Middle School (Years 7, 8, 9) in 2022 at SMGS or considering SMGS for Middle School in 2022.
