Established in 1991, Genesis Christian College is a thriving community which caters for over 1400 students. The campus is home to our Early Learning Centre - Little Genesis, caring for children from 6 weeks to Kindergarten; our Primary School which includes Prep to Year 6; our Middle School comprising Years 7 to 9 and our Senior School which prepares Yrs 10 to 12 students for a successful future. Our aim is to provide excellent educational standards embedded in a caring learning environment that is Christ-centered.
Our academic program uses the current Prep-12 Queensland Studies Authority Syllabus documents. Activities are designed to promote deep effective thinkers who can create, analyse and evaluate. Learning styles and interest levels are also carefully considered in lesson planning. Our Early Learning Centre, “Little Genesis” provides a holistic and inspiring approach to education and care within the Genesis community.
Genesis Christian College offers traditional academic subjects plus other workplace related courses which recognise the need for multiple pathways. Extra-curricular activities in sport, music and creative arts provide a varied and balanced education.
At Genesis Christian College, our undertaking is to encourage students to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Genesis is a non-denominational Christian school that promotes the understanding of the Christian faith as a personal choice for all. Genesis supports a strong pastoral care and personal development program with a dedicated pastoral care team. The College regards the education of its students as an important partnership between school and parents.

We warmly welcome over 1550 students and their families to another school year at Genesis. It’s also my privilege and honour to commence as Principal of Genesis Christian College.
I’m excited to be joining the Genesis community, a school with a reputation for care and excellence. I have enjoyed working in Christian Education for the past 24 years – working at Northside Christian College and previously in the position of Principal at Bundaberg Christian College.
We have many things to look forward to this year including the opening of our new STEM Building. This building will provide amazing, state of the art facilities for our secondary students to learn and thrive.
We aim to be a community with a difference, to be a community that flourishes and prepares our young people for life so that when they leave our College, they will be ready and equipped to make an impact for the common good of our society.
I look forward to meeting you.
