MacKillop Women engage in evidence-based learning experiences that promote
life-long learning habits. Our programs offer age and stage-appropriate learning that fosters the development of skills necessary to thrive in our ever-changing world. We pride ourselves on authentic learning that embodies the spirit of Mary MacKillop, resulting in Remarkable Women who are critical thinkers, problem solvers and advocates for social justice.

We encourage motivation, self-belief and resilience, developing students’ confidence in their abilities and applying critical thinking skills to step into their work confidently.
Flexible smart classrooms, learning spaces and specialist facilities; Cultural Centre with provision for Drama, Health and Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts, an air-conditioned library and electronic learning centre; counselling suite, state of the art science laboratories; a Practical Arts Centre which includes 2 hospitality kitchens, dining room and a textile room; as well as outdoor tennis, netball, basketball and volleyball courts.

At Mary MacKillop College students that will allow them to flourish. Co-Curricular opportunities include music, sport, anime club, chats for change, debating, enviroment committee, science ambassadors, STEAM club and various social justice groups. 

 Pastoral Care is the cornerstone of Josephite education and is embedded in all aspects of our College. Our Pastoral
Care program creates Truly Remarkable Women – students who are confident and capable to move through life. Our wellbeing programs include: The MacKillop Way, Wellbeing for Learning, Big Sister Program and camps, retreats and reflection days.

To assist in this process Mary MacKillop College girls are encouraged to extend and explore their interests and knowledge through their choice of co-curricular activities. Every young woman has the opportunity to involve herself in a variety of pursuits designed to complement and balance the curriculum. The College offers an extensive co-curricular program which encourages participation, team-work, self-confidence and creativity.

Centrally located with bus and train transport from all Brisbane regions within two minutes of the College. We are also serviced by Red and White Coaches who offer alternate routes to cater for students who are not close to bus or train services.

Rich in history and tradition, MMC was established in 1964 and is grounded in the Catholic tradition, especially the teachings of Mary MacKillop, Australia's first saint.  Our motto, “My Faith is My Light", is central to College life where our values are steeped in Josephite traditions.  We pride ourselves on partnering with you, to holistically educate your daughter and ensure that she is empowered to be the woman of tomorrow.
