Silkwood School has launched the Silkwood Young Entrepreneur Scholarship, a unique commitment to providing young people with the opportunity to discover explore and develop their entrepreneurial aspirations while at school.
The scholarship is specifically aimed at young people who already have a business idea or entrepreneurial vision and are keen on developing the skills they will need to make that vision a practical reality.
As Silkwood founder & CEO, Valerie Campbell-Hogg, explains, “We offer a real-world learning network of expert mentors who can work with young people on their passions and interests and develop their entrepreneurial thinking.”
The Silkwood Young Entrepreneur Scholarship (Y.E.S.) is a natural extension of such thinking.
“One of our values is ‘thinking entrepreneurial,” says Valerie Campbell-Hogg. “It’s about thinking outside the square, seeking solutions that exist outside the norm and having the confidence to have a go.”
