More than 1,700 day and boarding students from Year 5 to Year 12 call St Joseph's Nudgee College, their school. Of these students, more than 315 are boarders who call Nudgee College their home from home. Our boys are passionate about their school, learning, and making the most of every opportunity.

As a leading Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition, we have a strong school culture based on clear values and high expectations. Since its establishment in 1891, Nudgee College has developed a proud reputation as a school where fine young boys grow and develop into outstanding young men. 

From the outset, Nudgee College has strived to provide young men with faith, formation, and opportunity. Each boy's holistic education and all-around development is a key focus of the College, which offers a rich diversity of educational opportunities in the classroom, the pastoral care program, extensive co-curricular pursuits, faith development, and social justice activities. 

We are privileged to enjoy outstanding educational, sporting, and cultural facilities that enhance the school experience. However, while facilities are essential within a school, they are less important than those who use them.

The College provides bus services to and from the College for fare-paying students. Our Bus Travel Management system is called BusMinder, with students using their Student ID cards to access the bus services. 

All students are set up with a BusMinder account and Parents/Caregivers use the associated BusMinder Parent App to manage fare payments and use the safety features. Further details on the BusMinder System are available at the College Bus Travel site.
