The Illawarra Grammar School offer various scholarships to existing and external students from Year 5 to Year 11. These scholarships range from the Arts to Academic Excellence and General Excellence. Our highly sought after scholarships are generally offered until Year 12, and recipients are expected to be actively involved in the life of the School.
Scholarships are awarded to students who excel academically or in sport, the arts, leadership, community involvement or other pursuits. Scholarships are open to new students applying to commence at TIGS in Year 5 to Year 11 as well as students already enrolled at the School for entry into Year 7 or Year 11.
Scholarships apply to base tuition fees and are awarded at various levels with the most prestigious scholarship to the value of 100%. All Scholarship applicants are required to attend the Scholarship examination to be held on 26 March 2021. No alternative testing date will be offered. Selected students will be invited to attend an interview with members of the Scholarship Committee. Scholarships are generally offered until Year 12, and recipients are expected to be actively involved in and make a significant contribution to the life of the School.
